Food and wine pairings: fullness, freshness and elegance

This Jeroboam calls for noble and refined dishes, playing on textures and delicacy, in order to highlight the freshness and aromatic depth of the champagne.

Scallop carpaccio with citrus oil and Timut pepper

The delicate, briny flavor of the scallops pairs perfectly with the wine's minerality. Citrus oil enhances its notes of lemon and green apple, while Timut pepper underscores its vibrancy.

Roasted turbot, shellfish emulsion

The delicate yet firm flesh of the turbot pairs beautifully with the saline structure of the champagne. The rich and aromatic emulsion echoes the brioche-like roundness and lingering finish of the cuvée.

24-month Comté or farm-made Abondance

These hard, cooked cheeses reveal the complexity of the wine's tertiary aromas. The touch of dried fruit and salinity prolongs the finish while balancing its freshness.

Why does the Jeroboam offer better preservation?

We chose the Jeroboam, not only for its majestic 3-liter format – the equivalent of four bottles – but also because it improves with age. Its large volume slows down the aging process, allowing the champagne to remain fresher, longer-lasting, and more vibrant. In this bottle, the bubbles become finer, the aromas unfold with a unique elegance, as if the wine takes the time to breathe in order to better reveal its soul.
